06.15.07: Drawing Comics is Easy! (Except When It's Hard) has been nominated for an Eisner Award, in the category of “Best Publication for a Younger Audience.” The Eisner Award winners will be announced at the San Diego comics convention in July. Alexa Kitchen has been nominated for a 2007 Harvey Award in the category of "Best New Talent" for her book DRAWING COMICS IS EASY!, published in 2006 and written and drawn when she was just 7 years old. She is the youngest nominee in the history of the Harvey Awards, whose nominees are selected by a vote among approximately 2,000 eligible comic industry professionals. The winners of this year's Harveys will be announced at the Baltimore Comic Con in September 2007.
